The Problem
The way a team tackles decisions contains a hidden pattern, which sets them on a certain trajectory. It defines where they’ll naturally add value, but also where they’ll predictably incur costs. Decision Postures
We’ve developed eight distinct Decision Postures, across which we can map the trajectory of your team, based on a short, anonymous survey completed by each of the team’s members. Decision Postures emerge from how the team operates together, not from individual personalities, and each has value (it works well in certain circumstances). But each also bears predictable and avoidable costs.
Decision Practices
These are practical interventions, tailored to reduce the costs of how the team makes decisions, without sacrificing any of the value. They bend the arc of your team’s trajectory towards the outcomes it wants. They can be formal governance processes or ‘Tips for the Chair’, which arm leaders to see risks as they emerge and steer their team towards success.
